Lake Calhoun

I know I have really been slacking on updating my blog, but Lexi and I have been enjoying the summer to the fullest which seems to leave me little time to sit down and report all of our happenings! But no worries, I promise I will fill you all in shortly! As for today I thought I would share a few photos from our recent trip to Lake Calhoun.


Lexi and I decided that it was a great day to head out to the beach the other day. So we threw on our suits, packed our beach bag, and hopped into Big Red ( our 2001 grand am complete with all of the upgrades... stained seats, goldfish crumbs, melted crayons, and a collection of only the finest McDonald's happy meal toys) and headed down town to the Lake.

took a break from swimming for an ice cream treat

and enjoyed a perfect day at the beach with each other!
